The opportunity to meet and share stories with people from a different culture. Our annual mission trip is an opportunity for a life-changing experience.

In 2026 in addition to the medical clinic ACP volunteers also had the opportunity to help the community rebuild a greenhouse for the school and remodel the school dining hall and a community clinic.

Our experience begins with volunteer orientation sessions in September. In the fall volunteers participate in several hands-on training for all volunteers and pack and prep for the trip in January.

The mission trip includes planned side trips to visit some of the more remarkable sites in Peru’s Sacred Valley, including a highly coveted guided tour of Machu Picchu. Our guides who are with us during our entire mission trip are fluent in English, Spanish and Quechua (the native language of the Andean culture) and more importantly are trained guides and experts on Peru and Incan culture and history. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
